  • Taylor /Massey Creek pathway from Taylor Creek Park through East York, ending at the Pine Hills Cemetary in Scarborough.
  • Lakefront Pathway from western city limits with Mississauga (and continuing west to Hamilton and on to Niagara on the Lake), east to Toronto's eastern City limits at Pickering (and continuing from there east to Kingston), with some urban sections along Toronto's downtown waterfront.
There are also a number of scenic walking trails in the city:
  • Humber River, Old Mill & Marshes. These trails run frok Etienne Brule Park and Kings Mill Park, stradding Bloor Street and heads south and along the Humber to The Queensway, north of the Gardiner Expresssway.
  • Old Mill Trail This series of trails run son both sides of the Humber River, between Dundas St W and Bloor St W, and past Lambton House Hotel and is easily accessed from the Old Mill Subway Station.
  • Garrison Creek Trail, which connects the Christie Pits (at Bloor) and runs south through Trinity Bellwoods Park and Stanley Park, passing by Fort York and terminating at the Lake at Little Norway Park.
  • High ParkThere are guided walking tours through Toronto's largest green space including plants and animals identification. Starts at the Grenadier Cafe every second Sunday at 1:15 pm ($2 donation requested. 416-392-1748.
  • Beltline Park This trail runs NW to SE from just north of the Eglinton West Subway Station through the Mount Pleasant Cemetery into the Moore Park Ravine to the east (which passes the Don Valley Brickwords), or the Vale of Avoca Ravine to the south, which form a loop with Park Drive Ravine at the south
  • Don Valley Ravines. There are a number of trails along the Don Valley. One hot area is from Riverdale Farm north past the Prince Edward Viaduct to Potters Road and the Todmorden Mills & Museum
  • The Beaches Boardwalk, which runs for 3.5 kilometres from Ashbridges Bay Park east to the RC Harris Filtration Plant. A side trail heads north , about midway to the Glen Stewart Ravine
