Performance Venue: St. Vladimir Institute Auditorium
416-923-3318 University of Toronto, St George Campus 620 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, ON M5S 2H4 The St. Vladimir Institute has a 185-seat theatre which has become a popular venue with the Toronto theatre community for rehearsals and performances. The theatre is also often used for concerts, lectures and meetings. Two auditoriums are also available for weddings, dances, luncheons, classes and the occasional pub night. Theatre The air-conditioned theatre with very good accoustics is often used for: theatrical/musical/dance performances and rehearsals. It has a raised stage with proscenium, traveller curtain, wing drapes, and teasers. The stage is: 27'5" wide, 19'10" deep, and 15' high. There is flexible seating (i.e. not fixed) on a flat floor, for 185 persons, with a small balcony, and a dressing room available with sink, toilet, and shower. The theatre is wheelchair accessible. Auditorium A This air-conditioned auditorium (50' x 30') with a small raised stage is used for: meetings, receptions, luncheons, dances, formal functions and has a maximum capacity of 125 persons (for banquets, etc.) or 187 persons (for meetings) , with access to fully-equipped kitchen , a public address system , bar facilities and a oat check in the hallway. The room is wheelchair accessible Auditorium B This larger air-conditioned auditorium is often used for: meetings, receptions, luncheons, dances, formal functions .It is 75' x 35'; divisible into three sections, with a total maximum capacity: 220 persons (banquets, etc.), 328 persons (meetings) , with access to fully-equipped kitchen , a public address system , bar facilities and a oat check in the hallway. The room is wheelchair accessible
