This 341 seats studio is CBC Broadcast Centre's concert venue and recording studio. It is considered the "jewel of the Canadian Broadcasting Centre" and continues to be one of Toronto's favourite venues for intimate concerts. Concert tickets can be purchased online. Being in the Canadian Broadcasting Centre it has access to state-of-the-art communications and recording facilities, including satellite uplink connection, multitrack recording and prop rentals.
Glenn Gould Studio is also a superb recording facility offering the sound isolation, state-of-the-art recording facilities and acoustics that are ideal for classical and jazz recordings. The 50' wide by 30' deep stage is 16" above floor level, and takes up a full third of the room. Rear screen projection systems up to 12' by 16' can be accommodated. The Studio also hosts business functions for local and internationally-based companies, providing an environment ideal for meetings, product launches and seminars.
