This theatre has been dedicated to gay, lesbian and queer theatre since 1979. The Chamber main stage seats 250-300 while the Tallulah's cabaret space seats 120.

It is one of the leading alternative facility-based theatre in Toronto, challenging boundaries of both theatrical and social convention. They host a variety of theatrical productions, outrageous special events, youth initiatives, play development programmes, and late night weekend cabarets.
